The small screen

Posted By on Mon, Sep 18, 2006 at 9:15 AM

I should have mentioned that the gubernatorial "debate" at 7 p.m. tonight at ASU can be viewed live only in person or on the Internet, at KAIT's website. The TV station will broadcast a tape at 9 p.m.

We'll open a line on it later tonight and maybe even do some live blogging if we can stay awake that late.

Rod, you may insert your whine here.

Also: the selected guests debate between the candidates for lieutenant governor, Jim Holt and Bill Halter, is tonight at the Clinton School. 7 p.m. We hope to provide a brief report, but if you know any of the students who are able to attend, invite them to send comments to the blog or me directly, max@arktimes.com

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has denied a new permit for the C&H Hog Farms' concentrated animal feeding operation near Mount Judea (Newton County).
