Another spurioius complaint

The bipartisan state Ethics Commission voted 5-0 today to dismiss a complaint by gadfly Jim Parsons. He said a voter guide put out by Secretary of State Charlie Daniels' office was unethical politicking because it reference a voter education effort with the acronym ELECT. The acronym had been in existence for some time and the commission found no probable cause to believe Daniels had violated any rules. You may be sure Parsons isn't through filing complaints of equal weight.
