ARMedia notes a curious cover switch for Newsweek. It doesn't want to emphasize to American readers that the U.S. is NOT doing too well in Afghanistan.

At Snafu, an Arkansas veteran writes about national security and outrages like the Republican who suggested that his Democratic opponent, who was crippled by an explosion in Iraq, wants to "cut and run." He's a chickenhawk, naturally.
