High profile wedding

Posted By on Sat, Oct 7, 2006 at 10:09 PM

Tonight's social notes: We're happy to say we witnessed a wedding tonight. Judge Vic and Susan Fleming's daughter Elizabeth married Emmett Weindruch tonight at First Presbyterian, with a reception after at the Arkansas Arts Center

It's nice to see kids you knew as toddlers grown, with big jobs and great energy and good ideas. Yes, I'm bragging. My daughter was in the bridesmaid gaggle. So was Chelsea Clinton, one of Elizabeth's long-time LR friends. Bill and Hillary Clinton were among the guests.

It's humbling to be an aging parent and learn how much you missed. Like the dump truck joyride. Thanks, Katherine Markham Russell, for that information.
