King Biscuit blues

Posted By on Fri, Oct 13, 2006 at 8:30 AM

It oughtta be a blues song. About how Helena lost King Biscut as the name of its still popular blues festival because it wouldn't pay the tab demanded by the owner of the name. About how Memphis poached the name. About how, we learn in this Commercial Appeal article, Memphis is getting the name for free for its King Biscuit Festival, now scheduled for spring. Thanks to Pat for the tip.
