The Central Arkansas Labor Council today endorsed Bill Walker in the race for LR mayor.

Speaking of endorsements, reader Darrell Wheeler writes concerning the Times' editorial endorsement this week of Barbara Graves:

You have got to be kidding.  Barbara Graves is bought and paid for by development interests.

A word of explanation: The editorial endorsements represent the position of the paper as an institution. In this case, differences of opinion existed among staff members on the mayor's race. Publisher Alan Leveritt, who has the final say, wrote the editorial endorsing Graves.
