CQ yawns at Ark. gov. race

Posted By on Fri, Oct 20, 2006 at 8:04 AM

CQPolitics.com (the "CQ" is for "Congressional Quarterly"), via the New York Times, turns its attention to the Arkansas governor's race. The article begins:

In a campaign year marked by partisan vitriol and scathing personal attacks in contests across the nation, the Arkansas gubernatorial race between Democrat Mike Beebe and Republican Asa Hutchinson has been a rather subdued affair — more akin to a collegial tax seminar than a slugfest.

If you keep up with this blog or read our recent cover story about the governor's race, you won't find anything new in the CQ piece, except it concludes with CQ's rating of the contest: Leans Democratic.
