Can push polling be far behind?

Posted By on Mon, Oct 30, 2006 at 11:12 AM

We know Huck is on the horn. We know that, in other states, shadowy Repub groups have begun push polling. In this, under the guise of questions presented in opinion survey format, recipients are given scurrilous and misleading information about opposition candidates when the respondent has indicated receptiveness on an issue.

Example:

Caller: Are you pro-life?

Respondent: Yes.

Caller: Did you know the Democrat in this race favors medical experiments on unborn babies? (This, by the way, is apparently how the Repubs have decided to battle stem cell research.)

Any such "polling" underway in Arkansas? If you get such a call, take notes and send them along.
