New judges

Posted By on Wed, Nov 22, 2006 at 12:44 PM

Gov. Mike Huckabee got to pass out some goodies today – appointments to judicial vacancies. They were:

Lynn Williams to a district court judgeship in Hot Springs.

Rhonda Wood to a circuit judgeship for Faulkner, Van Buren and Searcy counties to succeed the retiring Juvenile Judge Linda Collier.

Frank Arey, former Huckabee staffer, to a circuit judgeship for Logan, Scott and Yell counties to complete the term of Judge Paul Danielson, who’s moving to the Supreme Court.

Steve Tabor to a circuit judgeship in Sebastian County where Judge Jim Marschewski is to become a federal magistrate.

More details here.
