Wal-Mart cutting fabrics?

The Morning News develops a report that Wal-Mart may be preparing to drop fabric sales from its stores. From the sound of it, it could be a good business decision (fabric sales produce relatively small revenues per square foot of store). But it would be, along with dropping of layaway, another move likely to leave some cost-conscious shoppers unhappy.
