Emergency money

Posted By on Tue, Jan 23, 2007 at 12:04 PM

Brummett's blog reports that Gov. Mike Beebe got his emergency fund replenished after the Huckabee looting. He writes that the holdup last week was to call suitable attention to Huckabee's looting. Brummett is ready to move on, though some want further investigation. Maybe, maybe not. I'd say Brummett shouldn't leap to a conclusion that the $100,000 went solely for musical instruments for needy kids until we've had some demonstration of that fact. My own questions on this point have yet to be answered.
