Sad news for the Times to report. When Kane Webb decided against moving to UCA to become associate vice president for communications at the University of Central Arkansas, it naturally meant President Lu Hardin had to look elsewhere.

Where else but Arkansas's newspaper of politics and culture? We're sad to report to Lu Hardin's good news is our loss -- Associate Editor Warwick Sabin is heading to Conway to take the $92,000-a-year job.

He'll be here to kick around for a couple more weeks. And we hope there'll be some opportunities in the future for him to contribute periodically.
