I was asked today my opinion on the best bars in Arkansas. Since I'm such a homebody nowadays, most of the places I could think of are gone.

So I turn to Arkansas Blog readers: What are the best bars in Arkansas? Not nostalgia cruises to Peck's or the Ship Ahoy, but currently operating places. And what makes them good? All categories welcome -- taverns, trendy places, places known for their music -- but distinctiveness counts.
