Pressing matters

Posted By on Sun, Mar 11, 2007 at 8:09 PM

This is mostly news to the reporting community, but I note  for the record that the administration changeover continues to ripple through AEDC. Mitch Chandler, the former TV news producer who's been the department's spokesman, is out and Joe Holmes, a veteran news/PR man late of Stone Ward, is heading in. Mitch was a straight shooter. When many in the Huckabee administration were not returning calls from the Arkansas Times, Mitch did, in a professional manner. It may seem a small thing, but given the circumstances at the time, we appreciated it.
