And one last thought

Posted By on Fri, Mar 16, 2007 at 7:09 PM

I heard today that the Senate Rules Committee, at a hastily called meeting yesterday with no prior notice of agenda, rubber-stamped The Brotherhood's rules change for electing the president pro-tem for the 2009 session. They'll do it on the last day of the 2007 session. Stupid, really, because it neuters the current pro tem, as well as leaving new senators out of the process, etc. The betting is that Death Star Bob Johnson will be the next leader. May we hope again that the House saves Arkansas citizens on occasion.
