The amendments

Posted By on Wed, Mar 21, 2007 at 6:36 PM

We quit for the day, but Roby Brock did not. He's got the news on the joint committee effort to choose three constitutional amendments for the 2008 ballot.

So far:

They've approved two: 1) a measure to allow annual legislative sessions and 2) to strip the Constitution of some outmoded language.

They could meet agian. The lottery amendment fell a vote short of approval, and will be run again, Roby reports.
