So the Family Council is saying it may seek to put a ban on gay adoption and foster parenting on the ballot. Yes, that’s the ticket. Legislate against a virtually non-existent practice because, hey, every other problem in the state has been solved. The air and water are clean; payday lenders only charge 300 percent on loans; women and minorities are paid equally and are proportionately represented in top jobs; all our schools are succeeding; everyone has health care. Absent anything else to talk about, you can’t go wrong beating up on gay people. It’s the Christian thing to do.
