Basketball watch

As the rumor mill turns:

Wally Hall, D-G sports editor, said on radio this morning that there are academic problems on the UA basketball team and the D-G reporting staff will be checking drug report records for positive findings on the basketball team. A second unconfirmed report from elsewhere suggests that the personnel issue Wally referenced this morning in his column was the refusal of John White to let Dana Altman bring in his own academic advisor.

As the Hogs Turn continues.
