Mr. Civility

Only the Democrat-Gazette editorial page could refer to the desired firing of Little Rock School Superintendent Roy Brooks as a "lynching party" in the same breath it urges calm and reason to prevail in the ongoing dispute. There will be no consensus in the district until Brooks' supporter understand that his critics have some legitimate grievances, even if they fall short of a firing offense.
