If not the war, what?

Posted By on Sat, Apr 14, 2007 at 5:53 AM

Mike Huckabee, working on a big GOP primary event in Iowa, tells the Des Moines newspaper that he doesn't believe war will be the defining issue in the race. Then what? Mitt Romney's hunting experience? Gay marriage? Rudy's three marriages? Character? Don Imus' firing? I still believe, in Carville's immortal words, updated for current events that it's the war, stupid. We note though, in another forum, that Huckabee criticizes Bush's handling of both the war and Hurricane Katrina relief.
