Mansion mercy

Gov. Mike Beebe says he'll give no preference to a killer recently recommended for clemency who works as a trusty at the Governor's Mansion. This, of course, isn't a Beebe special, not after less than three months in office. This is a trusty with long years of association with the previous governor, Mike Huckabee, who's favored Mansion inmates previously. The board that recommended clemency is, I believe, still entirely composed of Huckabee appointees.
