Sweet 16

Posted By on Fri, May 11, 2007 at 3:59 PM

Our Arts and Entertainment blog, Rock Candy, reports that an MTV crew is in town shooting an episode of "My Super Sweet 16." The soon to be sweet-16-year-old? Alyson Walker, daughter of Bill Walker, state director of workforce education, who last year sued the LR school board, Roy Brooks and Nancy Rousseau after Alyson was left off the Jr. varsity cheerleading squad. As Rock Candy reports, Alyson, her mother and a girlfriend spent $167,000 on jewelry earlier this week as MTV cameras filmed them.
