I note the Democrat-Gazette continues to repeat its dishonest account of legal action in the 1957 school crisis, today in a story related to, of all things, an NAACP conference in Litle Rock named for civil rights leader Daisy Bates. The NAACP, which was an active participant in the legal battle in 1957, is among the many sources of records disproving the D-G's assertion that National Guard troops reporting to Gov. Orval Faubus were removed on order of a federal judge.
