Dassault expansion

Posted By on Tue, Jun 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM

Gov. Mike Beebe and Dassault Falcon have had the announcement mentioned here yesterday. The aircraft modification facility will add 116,000 square feet, which will mean abut 200 new jobs by the end of 2007, paying about $20 an hour. The plant will now cover 820,00 square feet at Little Rock National Airport. News release says the $20-million expansion will include a new paint facility, warehouse expansion, new engineering facilities and additions to Dassault’s flight-test line.

Government contribution? Modest -- $62,500 from AED, $62,500 from the Department of Aerospace, and $50,000 from the city of Little Rock for infrastructure.
