In this week's Times

Posted By on Wed, Jun 20, 2007 at 5:10 PM

Our new edition is on the web. NWA's new baseball team is on the cover.

But The Insider has a few snippets of news:

1) The young woman who came to town to redevelop the Donaghey Building has skipped and left creditors. The building has reverted to ownership of a Hot Springs real estate company. Future plans are uncertain.

2) It looks like the annual North American Rainbow Gathering will be in Arkansas the first week in July. Details aren't finalized, but the preferred site seems to be near Fallsville, in the Ozarks-St. Francis National Forest between Clarksville and Jasper. The cover of a book on the event gives you a bit of the flavor of an annual gathering that could draw 20,000 people to the remote site.
