Chuck Barrett, VOR. I caught a few minutes of Drive Time Sports heading home. Seems as if KATV has issued an enigmatic statement saying its news anchor and reporters would be devoting their time to stuff like reporting news. They withdrew from the fray, in other words, after Frank Broyles stared down Dale Nicholson.

Well, good for KATV, if not in the money and PR department. There was always a problem in being home to the Voice of the the Razorbacks. You have a news person who has to walk the very fine line between supporting The Program and reporting The News. Looking back, Paul Eells did a pretty good job in a tough situation. I say bring back Bruce James, uncensored on KATV. (Like he always was.)
