Remember Dr. Nancy Snyderman, the Little Rock doc/newscaster who went on to become a network medical correspondent? This isn't the first time, but she's once again depicted in an unfavorable ethical light for a connection to someone she nominally covers, this time a health insurance lobby. She turned up as a speaker in the lobby's "speakers network," at $30,000 to $50,000 a pop. I don't imagine many consumer groups can front that kind of change. The website has been scrubbed, but telltale odors remain.
