For the children

Both the House and Senate have passed bills to expand health insurance coverage for children in low-income families. President Bush, ever compassionate to the need for lower taxes for billionaires, threatens a veto.

Arkansas angle: Our delegation backed the measures in both chambers.

Except, naturally, U.S. Rep. John Boozman, the Republican from Waltonland.
