Jerry Cox of the Family Council in his latest broadside against the "radical homosexual lobby" and the gamblers, etc. It sounds like, at the moment, their plan for fighting queers in 2008 will be an effort to prevent cohabitating unmarried couples -- gay or straight -- from being foster parents or adopting children. That's probably the only constitutional approach. It's fraught with problems. And it's all about keeping kids who need help from people willing to provide it. Welcome to compassionate conservatism.
