Huck-a-bus I UPDATE

Posted By on Thu, Aug 9, 2007 at 5:10 PM

Young Republican Leslie Rutledge says they've rounded up a cadre of eager Mike Huckabee workers for the bus ride to Iowa and a weekend of campaigning for the Ames straw poll.

"Is an Igloo considered to be a carry-on bag," Rutledge writes. Good attitude. "Right around 20 going...good number with short notice...we're very pleased considering folks getting little sleep on the trip and having to take off work, etc."

FRIDAY AM UPDATE: "Morning Max! YRs landed in Iowa...met the Gov on the way in (he was jogging!)...had breakfast with him...Just met Congressman Ron Paul. Stay tuned...."
