College testing

Posted By on Tue, Aug 14, 2007 at 2:32 PM

State Education Department has announced that Arkansas results are generally static on the ACT college admissions test, still lagging behind the national average. But more students are taking the test. News release here. The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science and the Arts in Hot Springs also announced that the ACT average for the  school was among the highest among public high schools in the country. Which it should be at a school with selective admissions.

Arkansas's failure to improve ran counter to most of the rest of the South.
