And now for the Fayetteville news

Posted By on Mon, Sep 17, 2007 at 11:44 AM

They may have a newspaper war going in NW Ark., with the acres of newsprint devoted to local happenings that come along with it, but I don't see how you can be fully informed without reading the amazing Iconoclast blog.

Just lately, the blog has included some informed analysis of such issues as Fayetteville's desire to hire expensive hired guns to bedevil city employees in employment cases; the Fayetteville chamber's weirdly hysterical unhappiness about the city sign ordinance; and Bentonville's move to end its prohibition on gated subdivisions. (Who knew that Bentonville had been so egalitarian to date?)
