Have mercy

Posted By on Fri, Sep 21, 2007 at 11:45 AM

Checking in. I can tell you that 40 percent of the remaining blogging staff is out sick, so bear with us. I'm in a coastal village in Ireland. I've had a pint of Guinness. The temp is about 60. There's a "barbecue" underway in the parking lot outside, but I'm strolling down to a quayside pub for crab, mussels, salmon, Galway oysters. On an earlier prospecting stroll, I noticed "De Mussell Man" an honor stand where fresh mussels were being sold for $4 Euros a bag. (A Euro, of course, is worht more every day, thanks to our fearless leader.) See you.
