Flying Nutt

Posted By on Wed, Sep 26, 2007 at 1:35 PM

Those wacky souls who frequent the Razorback message boards are at it again. This time, the anti-Houston Nutt contingent has started passing the online pot to fund planes towing anti-Nutt banners to fly before and during future Razorback football games.

The group has already raised enough money to put a plane in the air over this weekend’s North Texas game in Fayetteville. This weekend’s banner will reportedly read: “PLAYERS & FANS DESERVE BETTER – FIRE NUTT!” with other, more comical banners to come if fans are able to raise enough money to put the plane up for other games.

Here's more information and a link to the electronic offering plate.

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has denied a new permit for the C&H Hog Farms' concentrated animal feeding operation near Mount Judea (Newton County).
