Execution set

Gov. Mike Beebe set a Nov. 8 execution date today for Don Davis. His announcement acknowledges current uncertainty about executions using lethal injections because of questions about the procedure.

"This date has been set in accordance with current state procedures, acknowledging that forthcoming court action may take precedence."
