The good Clinton

Bill Clinton expounded on charity at the Slate 60 conference yesterday, well-timed with John Brummett's discussion of the good Clinton's foundation has done by blending unmet needs with profit motive and philanthropic motives. He wonders if George Bush could rehabilitate himself post-presidency in the style of a Carter, Gore or Clinton. Naw, he's going to make some money, cut some brush and chortle at the unfortunate. Presuming Cheney agrees to vacate the presidency in the midst of war with Iran.
