Fun with numbers

The DOG today editorialized about how charter schools don't drain top students, particularly whites, from public schools. Why, the editorial said, something just doesn't add up on that criticism. Charter schools in Pulaski County are only 47 percent white, the editorial noted.

Well, yes, figuredcumulatively.

But the A Plus charter school in majority white Maumelle is 21 percent black.

The LISA Academy in majority white West Little Rock is 21 27 percent black.

The Dreamland Academy out in Southwest is 93 percent black.

When they say it's not about race ....
