Shocker of the day

That would be news that the Rogers School Board had turned down a $2 million Walton Foundation grant to immediately start a merit pay plan -- one that had failed to win federal approval and that didn't meet the guidelines for state merit pay projects.

The NW Democrat-Gazette article contained more information about why School Board members split 3-3. Due diligence, sounds like. Copy and paste to read it:
