Campaign notes

Mike Huckabee, to his credit, is staying "soft" on immigrants, at least to the extent that it is possible to be humane and still expect to be viewed favorably in the early Republican primary states. Lest you miss the point: soft on immigrants is good in this quarter.

A blog reader mentioned this earlier, but in case you missed it in the comments, this is an interesting alternative press rundown on the candidate.
