An assortment of public officials grabbed finishing tools for the pour of the final stretch of the concrete walkway on the north end of the Junction Bridge. Opening of the pedestrian link — by conversion of a former railroad bridge between LR and NLR, just east of the Main Street vehicle bridge — is anticipated in May. It’s going to cost $6.8 million or so.
