Chopper alert

Posted By on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 9:32 PM

The Levy Project Blog suggests a move is afoot to put a "remote control" chopper in the sky over Dogtown and that the ACLU is poised to stop the surveillance bird before it lifts off. First I've heard of this, but I know the Levy Project boys mark the sparrow's fall on the North Shore and I tend to take them seriously.

You'd think the mayor has enough going on what with draining a fine wetland and passing out buckets of taxpayer subsidies to real estate developers who can afford to build strip centers without taxpayer help.

Here, from the Times of North Little Rock, is the story on the unmanned eyes in the sky that the cops want to buy. Message to Argenta: Better buy curtains.
