I don’t think newspaper endorsements generally count for much. (See D-G endorsements in School Board races.) But the NY Times had a feature about the importance of Des Moines Register endorsements in the Iowa caucuses. It’s Hillary, if you care. She’s the best prepared for the job said the paper, which endorsed Edwards in 2004. They went with McCain on the Republican side.
