[image-1]LRPD says Kevin Banks, 18, who lists an Arch Street address, turned himself into authorities today on a murder charge in the death of Brent Pettus, found shot in the 3200 block of Center Street on Dec. 20. A bulletin seeking Banks said he was considered armed and dangerous. Lt. Terry Hastings said police weren't ready to say whether the Pettus killing had any connection with a spate of shootings in the vicinity in the last month, including the death of a six-year-old girl as a result of an assault on a house at 2715 Martin Luther King last Saturday.
