This is pie-in-the-sky stuff, I’m afraid, but I’m sure some will be interested in a coming conference in Texas this week on construction of a high-speed rail corridor linking cities in Texas as well as spurs to Oklahoma and Texarkana and Little Rock. A 300-mph line from the center of LR to the heart of Dallas would beat even Southwest Airlines all hollow.
