You're on your own

Posted By on Sat, Feb 2, 2008 at 2:43 PM

Earlier than usual, I leave it in the capable hands of blog readers. I have to check out of my San Francisco hotel and wander the streets until a red-eye flight at 1 a.m. I had a great stroll this morning through Chinatown, packed with throngs of people attending the annual flower festival where decorations are sold for Chinese New Year celebrations. (Kick self for leaving camera at home.) The Ferry Building food halls are on the afternoon schedule, as well as a high-rise bayview cocktail hour and dinner with friends at Home, a comfort food restaurant in the Castro neighborhood. And, yes, maybe another movie.

Post news and views here. Back tomorrow.
