Two bits, four bits ...

.. and the legal fees mount.

Lawyers for LRSD filed their response today to the legal pleading by former Sen. Bill Walker and family that his daughter was entitled to a school board hearing over her failure to make the cheerleading squad at Central High a year ago. They argue that she was deprived full rights for her attention deficit disorder. She's on the squad this year.  Squadmates and others say she's a pain, not that that's a part of this suit. The school district response said she had all the hearings required by law.

  • IHOP coming down, but .....

    I always scan the Little Rock City Board for items of interest this week and this one caught my eye: A zoning measure required by a proposal to tear down the IHOP at Markham and University.
