Hoop dreams: Hogs to N.C.

Posted By on Sun, Mar 16, 2008 at 5:27 PM

Well, the Hogs, after the loss to Georgia today, are heading to Raleigh for the first round of the NCAA tournament as a ninth seed. They'll play Indiana.

Alltel will get Memphis and Texas, in order, as the top two seeds in first-round games next week. Mississippi State will fill a slot for the SEC in the Alltel games. We also get Austin Peay, UT-Arlington, Oregon, Miami and St. Mary's. Noted: the CBS bracket says the games are in Little Rock, rather than North Little Rock.
