Promenade makes it official -- UPDATE

Posted By on Tue, Mar 18, 2008 at 3:47 PM

The Promenade at Chenal's probable tenant list has been circulating for awhile now, but today the developers of the shopping center at Chenal and Rahling Road issued a formal press release naming 13 of them. Noticeably absent from the list is an Apple store (a plumbing permit for an Apple store was taken out last November).

UPDATE: Promenade spokeswoman Sherry Duggin said she "can't answer" questions about Apple, but as a commenter notes, Apple's website lists a coming Promenade store on its job opportunities page.

Most of the 13 tenants are already in Central Arkansas, at either Park Plaza or Midtowne, but three are new: DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse), a giant self-service-model shoe store, and clothing retailers J. Crew and bebe.

The rest of the list: J. Jill, Talbots, Coldwater Creek, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Select Comfort, American Eagle Outfitters, Kay Jewelers, Aeropostale and and Imax movie theater.

The center's projected opening date is sometime this spring later this year.
