Obama's passport files breached

Posted By on Fri, Mar 21, 2008 at 10:56 AM

Only Bush and henchmen have a right to privacy. CNN is reporting that contract employees in the State Department have been snooping through Barack Obama's passport files. Condi Rice has apologized.

State is characterizing the snooping as "imprudent curiosity" on the part of low-level personnel who help the department maintain records.

Obama's campaign is demanding a complete investigation. Rice has said she's "very sorry" and will stay on top of the inquiry. From Obama spokesman Bill Burton called the incident "an outrageous breach of security and privacy, even from an administration that has shown little regard for either over the last eight years."

UPDATE: McCain's and Clinton's have been breached as well.
