Charter schools that work

Posted By on Tue, Apr 22, 2008 at 8:12 AM

Washington Post report here on the continuing good results (with the occasional exception) of the KIPP charter schools, which operate in Helena-West Helena, too.

The article praises KIPP for its posting of test results. Go here to see the strong results of the Arkansas schools.

Committed parents who've sought out the school and agreed to accountability practices. Long school days and weeks, plus summer sessions. Replicate that in every school and we'd all go places.
